Yes, the 1986 corvette convertible in some ways is the forgotten/least memorable and valuable of the corvette pace cars. Why Chevrolet decided to call ALL 1986 convertible’s pace cars only they know. The actual pace car was yellow with a graphite interior and looked great. 732 were ordered by the public in that colour.
The PC was driven by retired air force general Chuck Yeager.
I bought mine ( in yellow) from corvette shop N supplies in Tampa FL in 1987. Loved it.
