This “little “ find was probably the biggest barn find for corvettes
You probably know the story, but for those of you who don’t,
36 corvettes, one of each year from 1953-1989 ( of course no 1983 )
These were all purchased in 1989 by station VH1 at a cost of $610k, to be given away in a competition.
The eventual winner did not know what to do with them and sold them to an artist who was going to do a corvette colour theme thing for $250k cash money. They were then transported from LA to the storage facility in NYC where they remained untouched for 25 years.
