Corvette C4 and C6

Hi Guys,

I’d like to get some advice if possible. First off, sorry if I’m posting in the wrong place!

The C4 in the picture was my car a while back, and it was the best car I’ve ever had—it had been my dream car for ages. Now, I’m looking into the market to see if I can buy another one.

After reading some posts, I’ve noticed that pricing can be a bit tricky to understand. I’d love to get an idea of what budget I should have in mind for a C4 or C5 with a 6-speed manual gearbox (I know these are hard to find). If anyone could give me an estimate on price for that spec and suggest the best places to look, I’d really appreciate it.

Join the club and put a wanted ad on here? I'd be looking on Ebay, Autotrader and Pistonheads and the classic car websites. Think its true to say that used car market, including Vettes, is a a little bit depressed/subdued at the moment? Price of cars depend on condition and mileage of course and manuals are rarer as you know.
If you find something you like the look of, put the ad on here to get opinions on the price?

My aim is to understand what should I have as a budget. I miss my Corvette C4 a lot. Great car. And you are right, indeed a very interesting market to say the least.
