A very disappointing outcome for Corvette Racing with the C7R but that did not dampen our spirits as we all had a fantastic weekend.
The Corvette Corral was great again this year and the good news is we may be in a more prominent position track side next year.

Our group cleaned up at the show n shine with everyone from our group winning a trophy, can't say it was a relaxing weekend but we did manage to pack everything in. Thanks to all for making it a fantastic time.

question I have is why are the license plates so large, different sizes and placed in different
areas of front end ?

Here in USA plates are small, standard one shape and I have never put the front plate on my Corvettes
and never stopped by a cop for not doing so

It's the law everywhere in the UK, unlike the US where it differs from State to State. We are allowed 6" x 12" plates for imports which is the size that fits nicely in the aperture on a C5 nose. When I bought my Camaro new, I asked the dealer not to fit the front plate but he did and drilled the front in the process. The plate shown in my avatar has the correct font for a 6" x 12" but the border is questionable.

Yes here in UK we have standard size plates front and rear, lots of speed and traffic violation cameras in use, some of us are getting away with reduced size front plates,
on american vehicles we are allowed to use your size plates with motorcycle size text but in a pair
in Europe they use different colour backgrounds

Those plates sure distract the looks of the front
Do what we do and wait until a cop stops you
Just keep the front plate in the car and tell them you will install it some other time
