It can be.Trying to buy a car is always a headache.
Go and have a look at it, always better to see it in the flesh so to speak

I’mNot yet but always looking.
I have told you before james, how long it took me to finally buy one , after dilly dallying , pontificating and talking myself out of several. Just get the best you can afford and expect there to be ongoing repairs and improvements required. I dont regret buying mine at all , even though i have major jobs to do, its been fun collecting all the bits needed to do the gearbox job when i am ready. Just finding , buying , shipping and now owning it has been a great experience and wish i had done it years ago. The polititians i am convinced are determined to price us off the road , so if we are lucky we will have at best 10 years or so left to enjoy them. so the sooner you fulfil your dream the better. It can be.

At least corvette engine bays are blackA decent paint job will be big bucks.
Some black with paint , some black with oil !At least corvette engine bays are black
That’s the only thing I dislike about Corvettes, the black engine bay up to the introduction of the C4 models. ( still black but with the clamshell hood, a totally different look ) The engine bay would look so much nicer if it was body colour. At least corvette engine bays are black
I dunno , black can show off the shiny bits better , not that mines got many shiny bits compared to some .That’s the only thing I dislike about Corvettes, the black engine bay up to the introduction of the C4 models. Its cheap for a reason they always imo are. If it had been a good solid car it wouldn't be sub 20k. Which is fine if you have 10k to throw at it to get it where it needs to be.It think Carrot Town had it up for £18,500 in the end. To me it doesn’t bode well that it is up for sale again already and for practically the same price. However, if it is rust free and drives, then it could be a cheap ticket to 69 ownership for someone who doesn’t mind a doer upper.
I totally agree and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this one has some underlying issues for it to have changed hands twice in quick succession. Its cheap for a reason they always imo are.
