This 1963 Corvette was specially-built by Chevrolet Engineering for then-General Manager Bunkie Knudsen. It was not only a concept/showcar, but he used it as his personal driver.Shame, those sidepipes ruin it - IMO

Under SCCA racing rules, windscreen and backlite bars are HIGHLY recommended for fixed roof cars. The concern is them popping out at high speed or in a collision. There is very little actually holding them in place.

Looks good with attitude, larger rears in diameter than the front wheels, rare on a road going C3, I may be wrong but I think the rear arches may have been cut higher, not a vehicle for going over speed bumps
