LHD vs RHD Corvette - will it draw a 'divide' between traditional Corvette enthusiasts (if there is such a thing) and a new generation of enthusiasts perhaps choosing a Corvette because it offers far more than other alternative vehicles AND rhd.
Ford's new Mustang seems to be doing relatively well for the Blue Oval in the UK. 'Seems' is an objective word as there appear to many relatively new low mileage ones on the market - suspect that many of these are ex lease and PCP vehicles just out of contract?.
Has the 'new' RHD Mustang drawn 'traditional' American and Pony car enthusiasts away from 'real' LHD American cars enthusiasts?
Suspect that 'traditional' old school type Mustang enthusiasts and later Fox body cars are two separate entities in terms of interests - wonder if future owners of RHD Corvettes will be 'apart' from the everything that has gone before.
I suspect that Chrysler's RHD vehicles were more of a success in UK market for several reasons - a combination of Merc based cars that would have already had RHD platforms - traditional chassis'd cars (Jeeps) that were simply to produce as RHD - Fiat based cars that already had RHD options - 'dumping' policy due to failing UISA demand.

Re, the new Mustang in RHD, a couple of people I know have them as company cars. they would never drive a LHD American car, but as a RHD they were all for it. To them, it’s just a modern car that they liked the look of, and like the name and past nostalgia.

Built the old fashioned way. The old vettes were very labour intensive
