Manifold and Carb Replacement

You should notice a significant difference especially at higher rpm with the new set up, simply by virtue of the fact that carb and manifold are designed to work together.

Pulled the rocker covers off today for a little refresh. very happy how they've turned out. carb removed ready for the fitting of the weiand manifold and new Holley after xmas.

Out of interest Ad, where was the pcv valve hose plumbed in?

I had 2 pcv Valves originally the one on the drivers side went to the bottom of the air cleaner and passenger side went to vacuum on carb. Scott at CK pointed out i was plumbed in all wrong when he supplied me with the new carb and manifold.New set up will be pcv Valve to vacuum bottom of carb. Breather as you see on other side and then vacuum from brake booster to bottom of carb and vacuum advance from dizzy to vacuum top of carb.I'll probably rubber bung the air cleaner hole

That’s good - I suspected things weren’t plumbed up right looking at those hoses. You might find it idles better just by getting this corrected
