I understand the misrepresentation. Bear in mind most of these cars have 50 years of bodges done to them, just because it works today doesn't mean it won't stop working tomorrow. Radio can be expensive depending on how original you want to keep it, might also just be a bad ground. AC, factory R12 system is crap even if working when compared to anything today, a VintageAir kit is around £1500 and replaces the lot. Windows probably a bad ground on the door motors or relay under the dash. I don't think i've seen anyone say their factory alarm works.

Check out the Trader and see if he has any County Court Judgments against him and if he has (or not ) discharged them
I have sent you a Private message

All of the things mentioned as not working are to be expected on a 50 year old car to be honest. None are difficult to fix.

Totally agree with Ben`s response . If a dealer advertises a car as "everything working" only to find that many items are not working after taking a deposit or full payment he is in breach of the Trades Description Act and therefore breaking the law . That is not the same as purchasing a 50 year old car `sold as seen ` .
This has been proven by case law time and time again.

The Written Description forms part of the Contract
