Ah, the dreaded C3 handbrake! That was the main job undertaken this week in fact - not sure it's really that wonderful now, but the Quick-Jack worked well! The perennial problem I have had is that when the brake is adjusted so that it works well, it "binds" and heats up the drum/bearing assembly, ultimately likely causing the bearings to expire early! So its a bit trial and error, adjust, drive and check, adjust, repeat! So the Quick Jack was very handy!)
I confess that I did not use jack stands under the car - I had intended to, but forgot all about it! It seems very stable and stout, but if I overthink it, all the weight is effectively held by the "axle" of the lock bar! I did smile a bit at some of the items in the manual, I guess they are covering themselves in case of the inevitable US law suits!
