As Chuffer didn't seem to have much luck with his "chav fest" show recently (see his post near this one), I thought I'd post up some photos of some nicer vehicles, and hopefully Chuffer will like the steamers. This is the Bridgwater Classic Vehicle show, and are just some of my photos.
There was a C3 pace car there too, but it appears I didn't get a photo of it there :O . I followed in the Lotus Esprit Turbo HC into the show ground - lovely car, and lovely couple that have owned it for 24 years. Prior to that, had another Lotus Esprit for a long time too. That car was mint, and he did all the work himself and was happy to tell us all about it. He was amused with my Vette though, saying that when we were in the queue for admittance he felt his car rumbling etc courtesy of my Vette
Gotta say the chap in the orange hi-vis that was interviewing people during the "car drive-by" really knew his cars. He would talk about a whole variety of cars as they went by with lots of info, and knew about my Vette too, including the oddities of the 1968 (which mine is). I was wondering if it would catch him out, but alas not. Wonderful chap.
I also had a soft soft for the Rover V8 3500S - manual and in estate form. I loved it. It was there for the weekend as it had a caravan nearby. There was also a Douglas Gardner Cobra Replica with a 7 litre V8 in it, but again I don't seem to have a photo of it. It took part in the drive by and sounded great.
