Thanks gavinIf your shifter is a hurst, that uses an Allen key to hold the shifter in neutral
If it is correctly adjusted, is a quick way to check , to simply put it in neutral ( with all the rods connected) and see if the allen key holes in the shifter levers all line up ?Thanks gavin
Thanks oneball, i will find the correct drill bit. Did you see my previous post asking if I can do quick check in neutral with all rods connected. To my mind if I can insert drill bit then it is fine if I cant then I need to disconnect rods and adjust from scratch ,

What youโre doing is getting all these holes aligned.

So this button passes through them cleanly left to right when in neutral, itโs the bit on the end of the lever that engages in the quadrants to move the shift rods.

Thats the one I presumed , thank you for confirming that oneball , Thanks for your helpful advice and patience in all my recent query's and for your time in taking and sending many pictures and diagrams.
Perfect , I now understandThereโs a corresponding notch on the other side of the shifter body. So it goes all the way through the moving bits and a fixed bit on each side.
