Steller Motorsport has confirmed the Silver Cup driver lineup for its single-car Corvette entry in this weekend’s GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup opener at Paul Ricard.
The British squad will field a single Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the six-hour race at the Le Castellet circuit, which is the series debut for the American GT3 challenger.
While the team initially was shown with a pair of Bronze Cup cars on the full season entry, it has since scaled down and moved to Silver Cup with a single car.
Matisse Lismont, Lorcan Hanafin and Kiern Jewiss have been tapped to drive the No. 24 car, with all three drivers having Endurance Cup experience elsewhere.
Lismont debuted with Comtoyou Racing last year and drove an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo for the Belgian squad as recently as January’s Michelin 24H Dubai.
Hanafin, meanwhile, has gained experience with multiple brands since making his GT racing debut in 2023.
Last year, the British racer drove for Walkenhorst Motorsport in Silver Cup and he is currently also involved with Iron Lynx’s Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 program in the European Le Mans Series.
Finally, Jewiss was the last of the three drivers to have been confirmed and returns to the championship for the first time since 2023.
The 22-year-old, who recently took a victory in the British GT Championship opener at Donington, last took part in the Endurance Cup with Team Parker Racing in Bronze Cup.
He has an existing relationship with Steller through the team’s previous efforts in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
“Switching to a completely new car is never easy, especially in a championship as competitive as GT World Challenge Europe,” said team manager Max Daymond.
“We’ve been working flat-out since the cars arrived, covering hundreds of laps in testing.
“The learning curve has been steep, but fruitful, and now it’s time to go racing, which is the reason we do this.
“We’ve got three young and talented drivers in the car this weekend, and everyone is incredibly excited to get the season underway.”
