That looks so satisfying, but very time consuming.
I need to move so I can have a garage for my C4.
All of the work was done outside, painting in two gazebo’s. The C3 is still outside but under a carport. The C1 will be prepped and painted under the carport, it’s too dusty to be in the garage with other cars.

A specific question, my C4 has previously had a "blow over" in cellulose that has faded, it will polish up really nice but fades again within a week or so, pictures attached.
Is there any reason I couldn't just sand down the current paint and then spray as per your method using sealer, colour and clear ?

That sounds like a typical 1970’s paint job! Personally I would strip the paint off as I have done. If you want to try a ‘cut corners ‘paint job I would lightly wet and dry the roof panel, panel wipe, colour then clear coat as a simple test panel but I didn’t say that.

Thanks for the advice, I wrapped the roof last year as a test panel, but your post got me thinking that it's cheaper to paint the car that wrap it.
