Throttle cable route

Hi all , i may have asked this before but does anyone know which side of the support for the ignition wire shielding the throttle cable goes. Mine is on the side nearest the centre of the engine but this creates quite a sharp dog leg around the support. My throttle action isnt very smoothe when driving and wondered if putting the cable to the outside of the shielding support bracket may help. any suggestions welcome. TiA.

Thanks for the pic antijam, that route looks less stressed than mine, I think I will re route and see if it feels any smoother.
