To all those who came to the CCCUK Nationals at the weekend, I wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for bringing your cars.
Thank you for your stamina in the searing heat.
Thank you making it the best Nationals for many years.
Finally, thank you to all on the organising side and thank you to all our sponsors and supporters.
We are back in the Lake District in September, so hope to see you there.

Looking down through this thread surprised me at 'only' 160 Corvettes as I would have said over 200!

It was a fantastic weekend and great to see some decent money raised for both Keech and Sporting Bears

We have already got 100 Corvettes for the Lakes event and from conversations I had last weekend plenty more joining in. Who can resist taking their Corvette in the beautiful Lake District?

The guys from Aberdeen doing the Proclaimers 500 miles on Saturday night was brilliant and a worthy winner of Chairman's Choice

The Lakes should be just as good.

James from Aberdeen received the "Chairman's Choice" award for several reasons including the fact that he had a nice Corvette, but particularly because that performance nearly killed him!

Sorry I didn't get round to see everyone - I did try but ran out of time both during the very emotional dinner (for me and Richard Ross anyway) and the Sunday.

Absolutely, a minimum of 500 miles each way not including any detours in that heat in a non - AC C3 is heroic 🥵

Maybe a few hiding under the trees in the 'orchard' got missed?

Yes my mate Graham in his restored SWC was tucked up top right at the back keeping out of the sun and was likely missed by quite a few. The Panama Yellow '58 also up there was beautiful and hopes to attend the lakes bash.

They are the red , blue , black or yellow ones with chrome bumpers and the egg crate grills blacked out anda pheonix manta ray on the hood . ( its a crossbred Firebird / Stingray ) . Don`t you know anything ??? :ROFLMAO:
The emblem is a firebird but with a stingray tail and the body is a 1977 trans am with the C3 flat back window style. 🤩
