Which Brand of Engine Oil

I'm curious as to which brand of engine oil everyone is using on their C6's

Mobil 1 is recommended but not easy to find in the shops (available online). I've got a 60000 mile service coming up next week and TBH I cant remember what I used last time. Was thinking of using Castrol Magnatec this time, but just thought Id see what you are all using first

UPDATE: Thanks for the responses guys. I spoke to CarPartsUSA in Bredbury and they recommended Mobil 1 FS SAE 0-40 which is what they use. I managed to find and purchase this face-to-face from EuroCarParts here in Preston.

@ chuffer: I tried Halfords but they don't list Mobil 1 on their dropdown menus. Confusingly, I did find some Mobil1 5-30 but it was listed as out of stock
@ Invetterate: I will research this oil as suggested for my next oil change.

I don`t have a C6 , just a 1980 C3 that I only ever put Valvoline VR1 but cannot see why you can`t get Mobil 1 easily in shops . Halford stock it . What viscosity is specified for your car ? My wife`s Peugeot RCZ - GT200 requires 0W -30 and I have no trouble getting Mobil 1 for it but it can sometimes be cheaper on line .

I'm biased, as sponsored by them, but use Liqui Moly 5w30 Molygen. The oil is bright green, smells nice, holds good oil pressure and is readily available.C41A4534 - Copy.jpeg

May I suggest you research Driven Racing Oil's LS30? It is available from Anglo American Oil here in the UK who give a 15% discount to club members. It is made specifically for LS engines and is focussed on wear reduction. It is not cheap and it is not for very high annual mileages, but read the articles on the Anglo American and Driven websites and decide for yourself particularly about how oil specs have changed considerably since your engine was designed. I have used it for a number of years now.

I keep usa spec mobil1 5w30 in stock and can readily get more from usa on my air freights
Yes, I rember Keith saying that USA spec Mobil1 is different to Mobil1 you can buy here. Obviously still the same situation. The Corvette/Camaro loving guys up in Notts have put "Catch Cans" on their C7s and Camaros and maybe C6s? Anyone else considered/done that? Photo of Catch Can on a C7.
