Owned my '85 C4 (1st Vette) for 29 years Loved it!/Regret selling it. As you may have seen on the CCCUK Facebook page, the owner is also selling a C5 Z06 at that auction. Dont know if he is a club member? Shame he didn't put them for sale on here first?

These amazing cars are currently owned by our (long time) Sussex member Paul Z. I was fortunate to be given the keys to drive the Grand Sport at a club night. What a treat! It drives like new and delivers so much power through the manual gearbox. I owned a nice C4 20 years ago but this one is far superior and collectable. If you want a rare C4 corvette then contact Paul direct - you won't be disappointed.

Lucky man - it's a fabulous example. If I only had the space - this car deserves to have an air conditioned garage.

And no 20% (inc VAT) "Buyers Premium" to pay when you bought it?

P*** take, that 20% buyers premium. Perhaps not a sellers premium but there is often some kind of sellers contractural fee in there to 'dissuade' the seller pulling out once a 'signed-up' seller has been introduced to the 'party'.

The trouble with those auction houses are they are bloody greedy. Seller’s commission OK, but NOT a buyers premium.

I went to go and have a look at this car and it sold on Saturday before the auction on Sunday. I hope the new owner is taking care if it and enjoying owning such a rare and collectable Corvette!

Went for £20,813 inc premiums and owner Paul Z saying on CCCUK Facebook that car off to Switzerland.
