So, all relevant facts have been published. I don't wish to mislead anybody
This is where I came into my car's life.
I bought it new from Stratstones B'ham and there were 25 miles on the clock. I had a full three year's GM warranty which came into play twice; once for the new transaxle oil spec. and lastly for the headlight wiring issue, which seemed to me to be a belt, braces and piece of string matter.
I've had this car for nine years during which time it's done the Le Mans/Mallorca trip 8 times without faltering a beat. It leads an easy(ish) life because I'm retired and, although I'm about to build another couple of garages here (the Morgan is in the current one) the Corvette has never been inside in its life and not a drop has ever got inside; everything works fine.
i never asked Stratstones about the 2009 wheels and I have never changed anything.
I love this car and, given the current apparent issues surrounding C7's that are so say 'available', I may never sell it, certainly when and if I have the seats recovered.
I have pondered exhaust replacements but, if you do decide to 'open it up' a bit, it will roar at over 3k rpm; otherwise I rather like stealth mode. sometimes a shock for other drivers.
So, to any interested parties, I'm in no rush. If I should stumble upon a C7 that looks good, and given that I had a great deal when I purchased the C6, I would be happy to share that good fortune and adjust the price.
Seems pretty obvious that C7 prices will be impacted, probably greatly, as soon as the C8 is available. On the other hand I suggest that C6 prices will be shielded by the very same thing; at that time C6's will be getting closer to passing into Corvette folklore. To be honest I rather prefer the C6 looks against the C7 anyway although interiors are a totally different story. I also like C5's and often looked at getting one in addition.
Whatever it would certainly be a Corvette as nothing else gets close to a SmallBlock engine.
