Ventilation and sufficient air changes per volume of the interior are more crucial than heating the place up but I am sure Mr Cricket will join in the debate as he is our resident Air Con specialist .
You're too kind Chuffers
As mentioned in the thread, a lot depends on your location. Where I am at 800ft elevation the weather can and does get very wet and garage condensation was a real issue when we moved in two years ago. Air Conditioning is free to me so that was always going to happen but that will only make a very small difference is a space 36' x 36' and two story so I added an old dehumidifier we had doing nothing in the warehouse that only gets turned on in very wet periods. Where possible I'd prefer to work with nature especially this time of year when humidity is very low. I've haven't turned my unit on for some 6 weeks and it's currently 16% in the garage which is too low really as expressed by the sad face on my Thermopro and that is mostly due to having one or both sets of doors open often to air-out the space. Chris gives good advice on suitable units for when we get back to wetter periods but you'll need to seal up those air gaps for it to be effective.
Did you get the C2 then John?
