The car is a 85 and has a 3 wire motor
Hopefully I can find one in the UK

Is the motor bad or simply needs a gear replacement ?
Is the motor getting voltage and ground, maybe a relay issue, wiring or connector pins

Yes it’s the motor smoke came out of the motor and now when operated and you have your hand on the motor you feel nothing

Question is, the reason motor not turning is the gears jammed really just the problem ?

You can buy just the motor for right side as low as $112 such as

C4 Headlight Motor

I think the 3 wire motor was only used between 1984 and 1987.
if you can't get one can the motor be removed and rebuilt ?
Do both motors spin the same way, in which case a left hand motor course fitted onto the "gearbox".
Claremont has a left hand one.
