Headlight not staying up

Hi all
Thr headlight on my 93c4 is not staying up. The motor works but it will not stay in the up position. Any ideas what I need to do ?

Could be due to the plastic gears used is common to breaking teeth, if so steel ones are sold
Use the manual adjuster knob for each and open all the way up and then watch what happen with the gears
