[Choosing a name is hard]

I have a new set of seals coming .Whats the best adhesive to use for window screen rear hatch ect ?
Replacing the interior side window seals and the old ones seemed really stuck on so was wondering if there is a special sealant/ glue to use ?
Also what do you use to get the old stuff off

I’ve always used 3M weatherstrip adhesive. Works well, sticks good.

Rear hatch seal just pushes into place.
3M Weatherstrip adhesive for the bits you have to glue on the other seals.
No easy way for removing the old glue unfortunately, I used various scrapers and picks and just took my time

Would petrol do it? I’ve gotten various glues off with it. Worth a try.

I used whole lot of these, but this was feasible because I get them for free. I guess you can compare the chemicals in these and buy a larger version elsewhere. Zoff Plaster Adhesive Remover Wipes
