Starting issue

Hi again,
When turning the key for starting there’s no activity, but if I move strongly the steering up and down with the key in staring the car run. I suspect there is a problem in the ignition in the steering? Any idea how to fix this?

Most likely wires, or connectors, just worn out or loose. Not an easy fix, may have to pull the wheel and steering column housing to inspect ignition wiring throughout.

Updating my issue, if I bend or move the ignition rod (see pic) then the car starts normally. Anyone know if this can be adjusted or need new ignition switch?

Sounds like you need to adjust the position of the ignition switch on the steering column. Not sure how easy this is to do with the column in the car, as I took my column out some ago.
