It won't James. My generation has just finished paying for WW11. Yours will be paying for the pandemic for a long time. High petrol, diesel and gas prices will probably be the norm until the terrible situation with Russia is resolved and even then who knows what the result will be.Hopefully this mess goes away soon.
I am on holiday at the moment. Before we left and just before Russia invaded Ukraine, I fixed my gas and electricity tariffs. My estimated monthly payment went from £152 per month to £316. Only time will tell....Already has here,
For just one month, my utilities bill just went up $100 (25% higher) and not using anymore in like water or electricity :-(

I was wondering just the other day how many (if any) might be sold as a result?I think this will have a big impact on larger engined cars, and possibly many classics as they are old school, with not very efficient fuel wise engines. Especially American cars.
That’s what I was thinking, not so much on the very expensive “yanks” ie 50’s, 60’s and some 70’s corvettes etc, but things like mainstream 70’s fuel guzzling monsters. 500ci Cadillac’s and 460ci Lincoln’s/mercurys/Fords spring to mind.I was wondering just the other day how many (if any) might be sold as a result?
Considering the very little use most classics get and the average demographic of owners , I doubt it will have a huge impact .I was wondering just the other day how many (if any) might be sold as a result?
That’s quite true, but some people may not now to be able to use them quite as much as they did before and so decide to sell them due to lack of use.Considering the very little use most classics get and the average demographic of owners , I doubt it will have a huge impact .
Mine has gone up to an estimated £410 per month.I am on holiday at the moment. Before we left and just before Russia invaded Ukraine, I fixed my gas and electricity tariffs. My estimated monthly payment went from £152 per month to £316. Only time will tell....
Nice tryI was wondering just the other day how many (if any) might be sold as a result?
Its the hand of God why are fuel prices are going up, or if your like me, its the Government's of the world trying to recoup the billions they spent on Covid crisis. Here in the USA, gas was at times below $2 a gallon
From the day joey b got into the White House (long before Russia) price of fuel has gone up
Today in Ca the price of 93 octane gas jumped to $8, and the state takes 51 cents a gallon tax, plus then a federal tax
Feds stated today that the price of fuel will not go down until, yea right be before the midterm elections
Less than 7% of the imported oil came from Russia, so that is not the reason since beginning of 2021 of the price increases
This is about forcing the green BS here and taxing the piss out of American taxpayers for using fuel based engines.

Ireland is leading the way by reducing taxation on diesel and petrol to take the sting out for motorists . So if a small economy like Ireland can do it , why not the rest of the UK ???Its the hand of God why are fuel prices are going up, or if your like me, its the Government's of the world trying to recoup the billions they spent on Covid crisis.
