No need for a pinch of salt Mr. C , well done for getting invited as it`s no mean feat . Its usually the judges that wear the Panama`s and red pants so no need to dress up .Happy to represent Corvette Chuffers. I'll even have some red pants though rarely seen.. I'll take it with a pinch of salt and enjoy the day (that'll be 3 or 4 ) can I claim ex's Pete

A friend who was a well respected Aston Martin expert turned up in it one glorious summers evening so just had to go off for blast in it .Guess What? "The Duke" presenting the Car Club Trophy at Hampton Court.

The King (ex Prince of Wales) had a dark blue DB5 Volante in the '70s (probably still got it/converted to electric?). I used to see it getting refilled at what was the Windsor Motor Comany just off Windsor High street. HWM Aston Martin just down the road from me, is the oldest Aston dealer in the world and Stirling Moss drove an HWM racer.Somewhere in my large and dusty collection of colour photos I have one of me as a spritely youth circa 1982 posing with the HRH Prince Michael owned Aston Martin DB5 Volante he had upgraded to Vantage spec .
