Apparently this C3 was fitted with an 880 Horsepower Gas Turbine engine..

Reminds me of Jay Leno and his Gas Turbine Bike..

What’s not to like. A 1969 convertible with factory side exhausts. I think the factory 69 side exhausts are so much nicer looking than hookers or others. Sorry for that, but it’s just my opinion. When those aluminium overs are polished they really make the car pop.

So very Coronation Street
Is that a Northern rain cloud or have they set 'Southern Fried Chicken' on fire again?

Out of owning 12 Corvettes since 1975 my ZR-1 Snakeskinner was the most fun and success in all types of racing
Just about 600/600 rearwheel HP/TQ
The whole body was made of carbon fiber, weighed only 2,300 pounds, with tubed chassis and of course the famed GM/Lotus LT5 modified engine.
It was never a production ZR-1 and built from the ground up. Once owned by GM
Tranny came out of England,
Hewland manual using a 3 multi disc 5 inch floater clutch and only time I used the clutch was from a dead stop.
Top speed at an Open Road Race, 239 MPH

I lost the hearing in my left ear as even with a full faced helmet the side exhaust was over 104 Dba as there was no real mufflers but a baffle
Due to the speeds needed had to run a large fuel cell and depending on type of race used multi clutch discs in either 8 or 5 inch and flywheels weighing about 7 pounds.
Spun up RPMs real quick, but hell getting car moved from a dead stop
