Me neither. Yes, at that time period custom Corvettes were all the rage, and the more custom the better, but I never liked it from the moment I saw the movie. The novelty was it was RHD.

I loved some of the custom painting on cars during the 70’s, they really were works of art.

Looked at some old custom car magazines from the 70’s and some of the murals from the likes of Geoff ridgeway and Ray Mumford were truly amazing. John Jemmets challenger “artfull dodger” was beautiful.

This beautiful coloured 62 corvette is one of 13 painted in Cadillac heather amethyst with a red interior. ( all the same interior/exterior color) Ordered by the police in Omaha Nebraska.
Love it.

This C2 is on my bucket list but most probably much later in life to be able to afford the car plus the paint job. So badass.

One of Geoff ridgeway best works i think as owned this in the early 80s and used as a daily driver.
