I shall be very impressed if they can restore your Pulling Power at your age
Pick the Vette up Monday, can`t wait to see and feel the hoped for transformation .
Yo Dude ! Here I am . Much of yesterday was spent toing and froing over at Williams Bros Speed Shop doing test drives and fine tuning the car as it was still not running quite right when I took it out on the road first thing and had picked up some crap in the fuel line . But OMG ! What an improvement now it`s sorted . It is like a totally different car and pulls like a runaway train . It hauls away from tick over and pulls effortlessly up through the 3 speed auto trans like it always should have done . No more knocking back into 2nd on the B&M Mega Shifter like I had to before to get her to pick up her skirts .Chuffer, where are you man... were all waiting for an update.
Definitely a lot more than were in the stable before .Excellent.. be interesting to get it on a dyno and see how many horses are in there.
Sounds like after I had mine in for a tune up on a rolling road - 50+ extra horses were found, and the car went vastly better for it. I also have an Edelbrock 600cfm like you as well.Definitely a lot more than were in the stable before .
Blimey - that alone will make a big difference to power. Do you know what they’ve set it at now? They might have altered the timing curve for you too maybe. Useful to get a note of all your settings......... reset timing ( 12 degrees out )
I will give them a call and find out .Blimey - that alone will make a big difference to power. Do you know what they’ve set it at now? They might have altered the timing curve for you too maybe. Useful to get a note of all your settings.
Pleased to hear youve unleashed some performance
The timing curve was not altered as that is taken up in the Hypertech Street / Strip dizzy already fitted on the car . The timing is now set at 34 degrees .Blimey - that alone will make a big difference to power. Do you know what they’ve set it at now? They might have altered the timing curve for you too maybe. Your tuning guys certainly know what they’re doing and have got the car going well. It’s interesting they’ve gone with 34 degrees. I’m set at 38 degrees and thought that was the normal “all-in“ timing with UK pump fuel??The timing curve was not altered as that is taken up in the Hypertech Street / Strip dizzy already fitted on the car . They should know their stuff for sure with all their experience in drag racing in the UK and US and engine builds . They hose 34 deg. ` All In ` for good reason I guess .Your tuning guys certainly know what they’re doing and have got the car going well. It’s interesting they’ve gone with 34 degrees. Most dizzy‘s add about 22 degree of mechanical advance so your initial will now be 12 degrees I reckon to give 34 total.
