It would be nice to drive a classic on america roads with stunning views. Some more I can think of is the road to the timberline hotel that has the view of the mountain and the state of maine in the autumn looks stunning. If I was rich without a care in the world I'd be off doing it right now but you can't have everything in life I guess.

Oregon mountain view on the road to timberline lodge.
James,
you are correct as to what Oregon (better say it though as
Oregun or they will get mad at you) has to offer in the wild but
I spent 20 years in central Oregon and had to move out of that state 14 months ago
8 months of the year the weather is less than 60 F degrees, in the 15-20 deg range at night, 2 months a year over 90 F deg, and less than 2 months when it is nice around 70 deg.
It is a state that loves joey biden and gang, hates to work and too lazy to rid snow and ice off public roads or highways, many no speakie English
But as you mention, there are a lot of cool places to see in the USA
Back in the late 1970s I took a job most would not do
I worked for a company that took a contract that a group called WBC (Western Bank Corp) had 900 banks in 12 western states
We had to go to every one of them and install the first computer systems to each teller positions and management desks
I can tell you that 95 percent of bank workers are women, and they loved when a guy visitor would only be there 1 or 2 days,
so my nights were as busy as the days
Anyhow, I drove throughout all the 12 states and there is a ton of great roads, mountains and old west history still there to see.
From Pikes Peak, to lost Dutchman's mine, to Grand Canyon to the casinos in Nevada to Native Americans towns
It would take a lifetime to travel through all of the USA and never see it all
Bad thing was got caught in 2 banks that got robbed while I was in them, one was a take-over and cops blasted the 2 guys.
