There and back in one piece.
Set off in the dry but within a couple of miles of Shelsley the heavens opened and it stayed wet all day. Windscreen wipers wouldn’t turn on so pulled over and gave them a shove and they started up. Now when you turn them off the motor output spins but the wipers only move an inch. WTF. No idea how that can happen I’m guessing some sort of play.

First run was super slippery and super slow, car looked like it’d done a rally stage.

Second run knocked 7 secs off my first time. But fluffed the last run and no quicker, plenty to come in the wet, Prescott next on 27th May

It’s a bit achey and weak but my hands are the main problem. I need to change brake pads for Brands but I’m not sure I can take a wheel off at the moment.

It’ll be a struggle against the escorts at Prescott
