What happened to your muffler issue as to sound Dba
did you find one and measure its Dba ?

Yes. After a lot of effort I’ve got two set ups:

Open pipes

and

A double muffler arrangement that doesn’t seem to affect power but is actually a bit quiet for my liking but it has no problems passing tech.

Road was fine, I just wasn’t on it! I’d got the inside wheels on the dirt. Driver error, it’s quite difficult to see right hand corners.

Started on the repairs. Rebonded the split seams and got it somewhat to the right shape. I’ll then grind and fibreglass the inside to give me some reference points before grinding all the broken and cracked bits off and then lay up mat from the outside.

I decided after 28 years to put it up for sale. Not gone yet though.

Fair bit to do. Shape isn’t right at the corner of the top lip. Difficult to tell until it’s one colour. Will need some more filler and sanding before more primer.

That took a while. Ended up painting it twice.
