To be held at the Sharnbrook Hotel near Bedford

For 2017 our annual get together has had a complete make over thanks to our new Nationals Organiser, long standing Club Member Mike Lacey.

For those that want to enjoy the whole new experience this is a three day event, starting on the Friday afternoon with an organised cruise to an American diner.

On Saturday morning there will be a second cruise to the Old Warden Aerodrome to see their collection of vintage cars and planes. Lunch can be taken in the café, after which a run back to the hotel for -

the Corvette Club AGM - at which your presence will be expected!

On the Saturday evening a Gala Dinner is arranged with entertainment and a free welcome drink. Cost is £25 per head with the choice of a three course menu and tea/coffee to finish

We hope everyone will come along to this - a great opportunity to catch up with old friends.

Sunday is the main show and shine day when we will be joined by many more club members who come for the day. There will be a total of 17 trophies up for grabs, and for those who get peckish a hog roast will be available with the hotel bar remaining open all day for refreshments.

Rooms are available in the hotel for Friday and Saturday nights at the cost of £75 (£85 deluxe) per night for a double with breakfast.

Beaulieu - Simply American - Sun 01 Apr 12 18:05

Enjoy the first Simply American Event at the The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu with Chevrolet and the CCCUK

Simply American @ The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu 23rd/24th June

Sponsored by Chevrolet

United Kingdom
SO42 7ZN

The Simply American event that is taking place at Beaulieu on Sunday 24 June now has some exclusive content for Chevrolet owners (with the exception of a few journalists!) This will include driving down with Chevrolet UK on the Saturday and enjoying the evenings entertainment, and then free entry to the Simply American gathering the following day at Beaulieu.

For this fantastic package to enjoy the Simply American event with Chevrolet UK we have 15 pairs of tickets exclusively for the Corvette Club members.

Some of the timing's are approximate but once I have the names and details of those who are interested I can ensure these are confirmed nearer the time.
The run from the Ace Cafe is optional and doesn't have to be completed to enjoy the Saturday evenings BBQ although it should be great fun and good exposure for the CCCUK, so if you can, please do. (I will pose the question If it is possible to throw in another stop, so that may help others)... Included in Chevrolet's line up for the drive down will be the 2013 Corvette 60th Anniversary Edition fresh from the States.

The itinerary is as follows;

Saturday 23rd June

1pm: Guests meet Chevrolet UK at the Ace Cafe and have lunch (paid for by Chevrolet)
2/3pm: Guests depart for Beaulieu
5/6pm: Arrive at Beaulieu where an American styled BBQ will await you.
6pm onwards: The opportunity to relax and socialise with some drinks and a live band!

Sleeping arrangements: Guests are invited to camp overnight with us at Beaulieu ready for the Simply American event on the Sunday. Please note that guests must bring their own tent or are welcome to book a local hotel if they prefer- although this will beat their own expense.

Car Parking: The cars will be securely parked together around the Chevrolet stand area.

Sunday 24th June - Simply American

Breakfast: A hearty breakfast will be provided for guests to fuel them for the day!

Guests are then free to enjoy themselves at the first 'Simply American'– a gathering of American cars of all shapes and sizes - courtesy of Chevrolet.

The day features a cavalcade and display on the Main Arena of 20 cars chosen from all rally entrants - one of these selected cars will be the winner of the People's Choice Award and Beaulieu trophy. The competition is open to all American vehicle owners taking part in the rally and will take place at approximately 2.45pm on the day of the event.

More information can be found on the Beaulieu website

So to book your place all I need from members is your;

Membership No
Name of guest
Postal Address
E-mail address
Contact number
Corvette model you will be bringing.

For those interested could you please let me know by next Thursday as I have to let Chevy UK know the initial uptake by next Friday (I wouldn't have thought this is the definitive deadline but it sets the ball rolling.)

The ticket allocation will be on a strictly first come first served basis, so don't delay! Please post below or pm/email me. Smile

For your information I will be participating for the whole weekend including the run from the ACE, and as the Simply American event is open to all American machinery, I would hope to see as many Corvette owners there as possible, even if you are not partaking in Chevrolet's hospitality.

For now, I look forward to hearing from you. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! ....

Below is the normal admission info for Sunday

Vehicle Entry on the Sunday - Open to ALL American Cars

Feel free to turn up on the day. Admission to the event includes entry to the whole Beaulieu attraction including BOND IN MOTION.

Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your American vehicle is from 9.30am – the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffees.

Please note that if you wish to park alongside your friends, or fellow club members, you must arrive together as there will be no designated areas available.

Ticket Prices

Adults £10 and children £5 - only valid if arriving in an American vehicle, if you buy in advance you will also receive a 10% discount voucher for the Beaulieu shop!
(+ £1 handling charge per order)
