I remember that being launched in 1968 and thought it was fab . I wonder if any still survive .Trident Clipper was a much overlooked car wih its small block Ford engine.

Lets not forget Marcos`s last hurrah before going under for the third and final time . The Marcos TSO available in GT or soft top om 2004 to 2007 and optioned with Chevy V8 with either 350 or 400bhp . The space frame chassis was engineered by Prodrive and body was lightweight composite giving a good power / weight ratio and 0 - 60 in 4.1 secs and 0 - 100 in 8.5 secs . Not shabby performance by any means but I thought the looks were not up to much from certain angles 
. Only a handful were built . Marcos cars were always `cosy` inside but the TSO was very compact and gloomy having sat in a show car at the NEC at its launch . I think a medieval knights visor helmet had better visibility !!

Looks quite nice to my eyes, and performance wise those figures you quoted are very impressive. The rag top would be my preference as I’m a rag top guy.

I think a lot of people have forgotten it due to low build numbers but it did cause a bit of a fizz at the time.

According to Wikipedia, only 5 or 6 road cars were built and some of them were incomplete when Marcos went into Administration in 2007. Obviously that Canadian millionaire was trying to revive the car in the 2011 (?) YouTube video above?
