Yes it does look like a satin finish, why did you go for this rather than just paint the covers?
I initially planned to do that but my mate who preps the race cars where my C3 lives suggested Sandwell as he used them on the F2 cars and the coating withstood the extreme heat conditions of motorsport without failing . I wanted something that was as close as possible to factory spec colour that would last . My car has had an engine replacement with a 1985 Camaro IROC - Z 305 unit ) as I didn`t want aftermarket chrome covers . It was £100 well spent IMO .
