The first generation of barracuda, never appealed to me. There was a gold one down our road when I was young. The back window was great tho.

This was my #94 Snakeskinner C4 ZR-1 during the Pony Express 100 Open Road Race
Out of BattleMountain Nv travelling 80 miles south through the mountains from 4,500 to 6,500 feet elevation in 90 F degree weather

Whole body was carbon fiber, no side windows, front and rear used Lexan instead of glass
so in all car weighted under 2,700 pounds and the LT5 engine could haul that baby down the roads, really sweet at 7,500 RPMs

Problems after enough races I screwed my left hearing as even though wearing full helmet,
but no ear plugs, no side windows and side pipes with just a bit of baffles

318 doesn't sound like enough ci...
Not a puny as you think in the small challenger/barracuda models. Definitely not a flying machine, just a nice well balanced car with reasonable performance with good gas mileage. Plus that V8 burble. In the larger Chrysler line up it was a little underpowered. Plenty of buyers specified the 318.

Always liked the 2004 corvette Indy 500 pace car. Only three were produced, one for the race winner, one for chevrolet, one for the Indy museum. No replicas were produced for sale to Joe Public.
