Just been watching the 1971 Steve Mcqueen ` Le mans ` movie on TV . Was it really 51 years since I first saw that movie !! Oh so 70`s style now with mood music , precious little dialogue and long meaningful looks to camera by the cast , and the King of Cool being just sooo cool ! Playing spot the Corvette was fun too .

The Mid years certainly look mean once the front bumpers are removed. As you say, put some teeth in there and it will look terrific. Bit like the artwork on some P51 mustangs.

Frost blue was a standard factory Color for 59, the cars obviously been repainted but they have probably replicated the original colour

This video features the Corvette Intrepid RM1 Group C Racer that is equipped with a huge 800 bhp 7.2L Chevrolet V8.

Its true. If I'm out in the Vette on my own, the wife always says something like "I knew you'd be home soon as I could hear your car coming from a few roads away"

The fitting of the front bumpers helps soften the look of the front. Remove them and the size of the large grill area makes the car look very menacing from the front.
