The internet certainly has changed how we do things.
My missus didn't like the taste of the glue on stamps.......so I was always 'employed' to lick them!Sure has but don`t you just miss licking stamps or pressing button A or B in a telephone box ?

Yes, I knew a number of former Post Office Telecoms engineers.........strange perhaps that so many seemed to be car nuts!Indeed, my first proper job after leaving college/apprenticeship was with Post Office Telecoms, latterly BT, amongst our duties was servicing/repairing the old red telephone boxes. Some of the things we observed were were in various degrees of sickening also some of the business cards displayed were interesting. This was back in the seventies in the Peckham/New Cross area of London which had some equally interesting characters in the locality.
