Love the wheels ๐Ÿ‘ .... Chuffin` freezin ` here though so not a day for tinkering outdoors . ๐Ÿฅถ
It's been really mild here today. The weather hasn't been favourable all week so I just made the most of it why I had the chance haha

On the other hand, I was running the car whilst I torqued the wheel nuts up..... and the wipers started going nuts again ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ
This car really tests my patience

But I do like my brakes that are sponsored by Lego

Great photograph. I do love a white convertible top. Donโ€™t laugh, Iโ€™ve been thinking of changing mine to white for 32 years. My black tops still in perfect shape tho.

Bugger to keep clean though...

Tomorrow will be my first canister type filter change on the blue coupe. I've been told it's very messy trying to fit a primed filter?

It is indeed a bit messy. Lots of mid year owners fitted the spin off adapter to allow modern spin on/off filters.

Have you got used to life with no sleep yet ??? ๐Ÿฃ
Does ` He` have a name yet ?
Sleep is why they invented boring top brass management meetings for :ROFLMAO:

Baby's name is Jenson.

Now for the usual questions I get after telling baby's name:
1) "Jenson, after the non defunct car company"
Nope, that was "Jensen" with an E.
2)"Jenson, after Mr Button the F1 driver?"
Nope, I don't watch F1.
3) So why Jenson? Any family name or whatever?
Nope. At the end of the day I wanted to call the child lots of different names, but the wife poo-poo'd them all. Minor problem is that she has a large family on her side, majority boys. So a lot of boys names already used. Frustrated, I couldn't be bothered and left her to make a list (which she built from Googling boys names etc). I then removed a few names from the list for reasons such as "I can't name my child XXXX because I knew one of them at school and he was a right pillock". After that, we just picked a forename and middle name from the list. I think I picked Jenson as it was different and we didn't know anyone by that name and phonetically didn't have "Lee" in it - both are sisters called their male child "Leo" (my sister was first), and wife's sister also has a "Mollie" (phonetic LEE) and her husband is LEE. So I'd be ducked if I'm having a LEE based name too. :ROFLMAO:

Iโ€™ve not done much, and the ole 65 is tucked up in the garage, but my 74 convertible stateside made a nice trip of 500 miles from Clearwater FL to Atlanta GA without any problems ( apart from a winking eye) that will hopefully fixed soon.

I would have been giving the C3 a `lick & a promise ` today in readiness for the New Years Day Stoney Stratford `Classic Meet` but thought better of it due to tomorrows Yellow Weather Warning for high winds and rain all day . Then a posting on Facebook popped a couple of hours ago saying the event is cancelled for those very reasons . ๐Ÿ˜ž

Didn't spill a drop. I got lucky in that I was able to turn the bolt 4 or 5 turns but the canister stayed put so I let it drip for half hour then just spun it off maybe 1/3rd full

I spent an enjoyable morning underneath my son's Mustang helping him remove his gearbox extension housing, which of course first involved removing the exhaust and propshaft and then getting a liberal sprinkling of transmission fluid on us. Now we can see why his speedo driven gear keeps getting chewed up. The drive gear has a section which appears to have melted plastic filling the teeth. Ran out of time to have a go at removing said melted plastic, hopefully this won't be too difficult.

Don't get yourself into a "two and eight" Chuffer - some of the older and seemingly innocuous sayings that many people still use can have surprising and controversial origins!

That`s another gem from the past me duck as all the old dears in Northampton used to say when I was kid . My Mum would say " I was orf hooks with meself " when I was in a tetchy mood and Nan would call me Pimmocky when I was being fussy over my food .
